Bon Appétit is a wonderful DVD for use when teaching French language and culture in primary and secondary schools. Follow Audrey, a Parisienne teenager, through her day and find out what French people like to eat, how and where they shop, and the importance of food in French culture.
There are two versions of the film on the DVD. Use the English version if your focus is on French culture, or the French version to practise French. Choose to view with or without French subtitles. Each film is approximately 30 minutes long and there are many extras.
The accompanying CD-Rom contains the script, viewing activities and other resources. A script and worksheet for 'la boulangerie' are the downloadable attachments for this book.
You can view excerpts from the English and French versions of the video by using the links in the TRY BEFORE YOU BUY section on this page.
