Many of our books contain pages that can be photocopied or printed out and given to pupils by the school purchasing the book. On these pages there will be a note saying 'This page may be photocopied by the purchasing institution only' (or words to that effect). A list of the pages (if any) that can be copied will also appear on the copyright page (usually page 2) of the book.
If the page says 'This page may be photocopied by the purchasing institution only', then you do not need to declare the photocopying in your return to the Copyright Licensing Agency or Publishers’ Licensing Services. If there isn't a note to this effect on the page, then it will need to be declared.
Please tell us! We do proofread our books very carefully, but sometimes mistakes creep through to the final versions. When alerted to a mistake we immediately action a reprint and put the corrected page on our Free Resources page (under Whoops!). We send the person who pointed out the mistake a revised copy - and often some other goodies too!
Please read our Guidelines for Authors page before deciding to download and complete our New Book Proposal document.
