Johnny Baker

Johnny was a founding member of the Centre for Mathematics Education at the Open University. He has lectured in universities and taught in schools. His current focus us on the role of technology in maths teaching. He also runs accelerated learning programs for gifted students that use technology for maths in exciting ways. He is coeditor of the spreadsheet journal “Spreadsheets in Education” and runs an on-line maths competition of talented maths students.

Ann and Johnny Baker live in the Gold Coast Hinterland with their two sons and a small menagerie of pets and delight in the local flora and fauna that share their home and garden.
