Katherine Bennett

I have been a primary class teacher in York for twelve years, currently working in Year 6. My main interest is developing inclusive teaching – I spent five years as a SENCO and gained the National Award for SEN Co-ordination. I am also a leading teacher for able, gifted and talented. I think providing a creative curriculum for children is really important and enjoy developing engaging and imaginative learning activities.

In my spare time I enjoy playing the piano and running (not at the same time!) and most of all, spending time with my husband and two young children.
