These Olympics give you a wonderful opportunity to immerse pupils in this extraordinary event to further their French vocabulary, sentence building and grammar structures.

Use the extensive French social, press, TV and advertising coverage to enhance reading, writing, speaking and listening skills as children extract the information they need.

“Teach French through the Paris Olympics 2024” contains the vocabulary for all the 32 Olympic sports along with flashcards, word searches, word games, sentence-building activities, reading passages and surveys to help promote speaking, listening, reading and writing in relation to the Games. There are sample pages to download on our website under the ‘Try before you buy’ tab.

We have also produced a free PowerPoint presentation to accompany this book, which will help introduce the Olympic sports to your class and enable the vocabulary for the 32 Olympic sports to be taught through a range of activities and games.
